A brandy Alexander is a rich and indulgent cocktail made with crème de cacao, brandy, and heavy cream for a rich and creamy after-dinner drink.

• 1 cup ice, or as needed

• 1/2 fluid ounce creme de cacao

• 1/2 fluid ounce brandy

• 1/2 fluid ounce heavy cream

1 Gather all ingredients.

2 Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

3 Add crème de cacao, brandy, and heavy cream. Cover and shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted.
