1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cups chopped onion
2 cups chopped carrot
2 cups finely chopped celery

8 cups fat-free chicken broth
1 1/2 teaspoons salt-free seasoning blend (such as Mrs. Dash®)
1 teaspoon salt

Directions

1 Gather the ingredients.
2 Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Add onion, carrot, celery, and garlic; cook and stir until onion is translucent, 5 to 7 minutes.
