Description

These kitchen sink cookies use up bits of this and that, including butterscotch chips and dried cranberries, for a quick treat.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries (such as Ocean Spray® Craisins®)

Directions

1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2 Beat sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla extract together in a bowl until fluffy. Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Stir flour mixture into butter mixture. Stir in pecans, butterscotch chips, chocolate chips, and cranberries.
3 Drop cookie dough by rounded teaspoons onto an ungreased baking sheet.
4 Bake in the preheated oven until lightly golden brown and set, 8 to 10 minutes.
