Italian Marinated Chicken
Description
Learn how to cook marinated chicken on the stove with this easy recipe. Chicken breasts are marinated in Italian-style salad dressing, then sautéed. Only four ingredients make a ferociously simple and tasty Italian chicken dish. Serve with noodles or rice, if desired. Prego!
Ingredients
•
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
•
salt and pepper to taste
•
1 (16 ounce) bottle Italian-style salad dressing
•
1/3 cup vegetable oil
Directions
1
Place chicken breasts in a nonporous glass dish or bowl. Poke several holes in chicken with a fork; season with salt and pepper. Pour salad dressing over chicken; toss to coat. Cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
2
Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
3
Remove chicken from marinade, discard excess marinade, and sauté chicken in hot oil until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, 4 to 5 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
