Description

Turn bland turkey into something special with an Asian-flavored, herb marinade that gets cooked and served as a tasty sauce alongside the turkey slices.

Ingredients

1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup white wine
1/4 cup chicken broth
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard powder
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon white sugar
1/2 teaspoon dried minced onion
1/2 teaspoon hot sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon lime juice
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic
1 1/4 pounds turkey tenderloins

Directions

1 Mix soy sauce, white wine, chicken broth, olive oil, pepper, basil, parsley, mustard powder, ginger, sugar, onion, sesame oil, lime juice, Dijon, and garlic together in a small bowl; pour into a resealable plastic bag. Add turkey, coat with the marinade, squeeze out excess air, and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
2 Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Remove turkey from the marinade and shake off excess; place turkey into a 2-quart glass baking dish.
3 Bake in the preheated oven until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 25 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
4 While the turkey is cooking, pour marinade into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 10 minutes.
5 Slice turkey and serve with sauce.
