Beer Bread
Description
This beer bread recipe uses just three ingredients, including a bottle of your favorite beer — which not only adds flavor, but also helps the bread to rise.
Ingredients
•
cooking spray
•
3 cups self-rising flour
•
3 tablespoons white sugar
•
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
Directions
1
Gather the ingredients.
2
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
3
Mix flour and sugar together in a large bowl.
4
Pour beer into the flour and sugar mixture.
5
Mix the batter, first with a wooden spoon and then with your hands, until well combined. Batter will be sticky.
6
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
7
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown on top, 50 to 60 minutes.
