Description

This Crisco frosting is easy to make with shortening and confectioners' sugar for a bright white icing that can be used on cookies or cakes.

Ingredients

• 4 cups confectioners' sugar
• 1 cup shortening
• 2 tablespoons water
• 1 teaspoon clear imitation vanilla extract

Directions

1 Place confectioners' sugar, shortening, water, and vanilla into a large bowl. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed to combine, then beat on medium speed for a full 5 minutes.
