Description

This is a very simple, yet addictive alternative to traditional beef hamburgers for the wing fan getting through summer barbeques.

Ingredients

1 pound ground chicken
1 cup dry bread crumbs
3/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
1 extra large egg
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/3 cup buffalo wing sauce
4 hamburger buns, split and toasted

Directions

1 Mix together the chicken, bread crumbs, blue cheese, egg, onion, and wing sauce in a mixing bowl until evenly combined. Form into 4 patties and place between sheets of waxed paper or plastic wrap. Place into an airtight container and refrigerate overnight for best results.
2 Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, and lightly oil grate.
3 Cook the patties on the preheated grill until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 3 minutes per side. Serve on toasted buns with condiments of your choice.
