Low-Sugar BBQ Marinated Steak Tips
Description
Low-sugar barbecue-marinated steak tips with Italian dressing provide a healthier option for those with dietary restrictions, without compromising flavor.
Ingredients
•
1/2 cup Italian-style salad dressing
•
1/2 cup sugar-free barbeque sauce
•
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
•
1 teaspoon garlic powder
•
1 teaspoon black pepper
•
2 1/2 pounds Beef, top sirloin, separable lean only, trimmed to 1/4" fat, all grades, raw
Directions
1
Whisk salad dressing, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and pepper together in a medium bowl and pour into a resealable plastic bag. Add steak tips, coat with marinade, squeeze out excess air, and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, preferably 8 hours to overnight.
2
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil the grate.
3
Remove steak tips from marinade and shake off excess. Discard remaining marinade.
4
Cook steak tips on the preheated grill until they are beginning to firm and are hot and slightly pink in the center, about 5 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 140 degrees F (60 degrees C).
