Quick Fudge Icing
Description
This chocolate fudge icing that hardens requires just a few ingredients to make an easy, quick, and good chocolate icing for cakes, brownies, or cookies.
Ingredients

1 cup white sugar

1/3 cup milk
•
5 tablespoons shortening
•
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
•
1 pinch salt
•
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions

Combine sugar, milk, shortening, cocoa, and salt in a saucepan. Bring mixture to a rolling boil, stirring constantly for 2 minutes.

Remove from heat and add vanilla; beat until frosting is creamy and thick.
