Grandma's Pumpkin Something

Description

This easy, nutty pumpkin dessert is something like a cake, and something like a pudding. It's a family favorite.

Ingredients

1 cup milk
1 cup white sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
2/15 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
1 (15 1/4 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup whipped heavy cream

Directions

1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
2 Whisk milk, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, salt, and pumpkin together in a large bowl. Pour into the prepared baking dish.
3 Sprinkle cake mix and pecans on top of mixture; drizzle melted butter over the top.
4 Bake in the preheated oven until browned on top, about 1 hour. Serve with freshly whipped cream.
